Community Cleaning

Community Cleaning Initiative

Keeping our community clean is essential for health, safety, and overall well-being. Many areas are currently overgrown and littered with plastic, paper, bottles, and other debris, which can collect stagnant water and breed mosquitoes, increasing the risk of malaria and other diseases—a serious threat to residents’ lives.

This project focuses on de-bushing overgrown areas, collecting litter, and maintaining public spaces. To support these efforts, we request a rubbish truck to collect waste on a weekly basis, ensuring that the community remains clean, safe, and healthy.

By working together, we can prevent disease, protect lives, and create a safer, healthier environment for everyone.

Our 1st Organized Community Work Day in June:

During the process, we accidentally felled a tree on to a lamp post, resulting in a power outage. JPS were called out to assist.
