Piping Spring Water to the Community

Our goal is to secure a reliable water 💧supply for our community by piping clean water from our local spring into the district. We are currently seeking support – technical, financial, and community partnerships – to help make this vision a reality. Together, we can ensure safe, sustainable water for every resident of Logwood Piece.

Our community struggles daily with limited water access. We rely on a single standpipe, carrying water on our heads, with water available for only 4 to 5 hours a day. This shortage makes everyday tasks exhausting and puts children, the elderly, and vulnerable residents at risk of poor hygiene and waterborne diseases.

Our goal is to secure a reliable water supply for our community by piping clean water from our local spring directly into the district and constructing a water distribution tank to ensure consistent and equitable access for all residents.

We are seeking technical, financial, and community support to help make this vision a reality. By providing a reliable, safe, and convenient supply for homes and public spaces, your support can transform lives, reduce hardship, and ensure safe, sustainable water for every resident of Logwood Piece.

Early August Visit to the Spring Source

This shows the water entombment. However, it’s in-need a major renovation.

The purpose of the site visit was to assess the situation by establishing what is in existence, needed renovation, and what does exist today.

Next step is to identify a clear pathway to run the pipeline without a need to implement a water-pump in order to minimize cost
